iBirdi provides tee-sheet, online booking, membership, payments, and reporting software for golf operators. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using iBirdi you agree to this policy. In short: we collect only what we need to run the service, and we do not sell your personal information.
iBirdi serves two kinds of people. Operators and their staff hold accounts to run a course. Golfers book tee times, join memberships, and pay through an operator’s iBirdi booking page. For a course’s own customer records — its golfers, members, and bookings — the operator is the controller of that data and iBirdi processes it on the operator’s behalf. For operator account data and for how the service itself runs, iBirdi is the controller.
Account and contact information. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, the facility and courses you set up, staff roles, and messages you send our support team.
Booking, member, and customer data. Tee-time reservations, membership plans, guest passes, rate selections, notes, and the golfer contact details an operator or golfer enters to make a booking.
Payment data. Payments are processed by our payment partner, PaidYet. Card details are tokenized by PaidYet and are not stored on iBirdi’s servers. We keep the amount, status, and time of a transaction so operators can reconcile and report.
Usage and technical data. Log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, plus device identifiers and aggregated analytics that help us keep the service reliable.
We use this information to create and secure accounts, run the tee sheet and booking pages, process payments and deposits, send transactional email (such as booking confirmations and sign-in codes), provide support, analyze and improve the service, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use golfer or member data to sell advertising.
We do not sell or trade personal data. We share it only in these limited ways:
We keep account and customer data while an account is active. After an account is closed, we delete or anonymize personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes. Residual copies in encrypted backups are retained for up to 12 months and then permanently destroyed.
We protect data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews, and card data is tokenized by PaidYet so full card numbers never touch our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@ibirdi.com.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and analytics cookies to understand and improve the service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work as intended.
You may access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal information we hold about you. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA — including the right not to have your data sold, which we honor for everyone. To exercise any right, email hello@ibirdi.com and we will respond within 30 days. If your request concerns data an operator controls, we will refer you to, or act on the instructions of, that operator.
iBirdi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes, we will notify account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that means you accept the updated policy.
